Recipes with hydrosols

Moisturising Lotion

We have launched our very own Aqueous Lotion with Hemp Seed Oil recently and the feedback we have received so far is amazing. This lotion is perfect to use as a base and to add any hydrosol/s of your choice.

We will also be a distributor of Hydrosols, directly imported, to offer our clients quality products with affordable pricing in mind. We love these products so much that we absolutely MUST share it with everyone.

This is such an easy and affordable way to mix your own natural lotion and to know exactly what you put on your skin. It is colourless and fragrance free. Free of any animal derived ingredients and cruelty free (not tested on animals). This lotion is for external use only. It is hypo-allergenic and can be applied to the skin as often as needed. Can be used as a moisturiser, bath cream and shaving cream.

Main ingredients of our aqueous lotion along with their healing benefits include:

Hemp seed oil:

Originated from the small seeds of the Cannabis sativa plant (thus not containing the same levels of compounds as the plant itself) with a rich profile of nutrients, fatty acids and useful bioactive compounds. Topical application of the oil strengthens the skin and makes it better able to resist infection.

Apple seed oil:

A very unique moisturizing oil with therapeutic properties and with a prophetic meaning. Topical application of the oil will leave your skin feeling soft and tingling. See prophetic meaning and information here.

Kalahari melon seed oil:

Excellent moisturizing and regenerating properties which enables suppleness and elasticity in the skin. Rich in Omega 6 & 9 essential fatty acids assuring ant-inflammatory properties. This oil is used in many of our cosmetic products, due to its high Vitamin E content.

Let’s get mixing…

· Scoop 500g Aqueous lotion out in a mixing bowl (we recommend using any HDPE type bowl).

· Mix in a minimum of 10ml Hydrosol of your choice. Please note that you can use more than one hydrosol in a 500g lotion safely. Start with the minimum amount and add extra until you are happy with the consistency and smell.

· Mix all the ingredients very well until smooth.

· Apply topically on body and face.

We would love to hear how your OWN hydrosol lotion came out and how you experienced this fun DIY project.
